Built in 1543 by Sir John Hynde, it has served as a royal residence housing Queen Victoria’s son, the future Edward VII before becoming part of the University of Cambridge in 1948. Today, the Hall is home to the University’s Institute of Continuing Education and hosts conferences, weddings, and events.
